My first post comes with the hope that this blog will help others out there who are striving to live a healthy style in such an unhealthy world and with a desire to learn as much as I can from others like me. I’ve always been health conscious but this past month I have entirely neglected my body which has led me to start this blog in an effort to get back on track. I’m a Colorado girl (always will be at heart), yogi and health enthusiast. ✌️❤️🌞.
So, in an effort to get my eating habits back on track I started off this morning with a delicious paleo blueberry chai smoothie. I took the recipe from paleOMG, a great blog that has provided me with lots of inspiration for paleo recipes (highly recommend sifting through it).
This morning delight is packed with blueberries, unsweetened almond milk, chia seeds, the spices taken out of a chai tea bag, a dash of vanilla and honey and lastly, topped with some almond granola crunch from Sprouts. So far so good this morning and it was so filling I was able to fit in a great weight session at the gym.
